We can’t wait to see you here! Our mission to provide quality education in our community takes a village outside of our own. We take great joy in inviting others to our mission by showing them all that is happening in Uganda and how they can be a part of this incredible journey.

To book a trip with us is quite easy. Simply apply for the most appropriate trip for you or your group, submit your commitment fee, and we’ll take it from there!

Mission Trip

We believe God is a commissioning God. Like the testimonies of our Founders, uniquely called at ages 4 and 5, we believe God equips those he assigns to different areas of the earth. If your heart’s desire is to join us on the ground here, we hope that you are eager to share the Gospel with local people in Northern Uganda.

Whether from Gen House or our surrounding ministry points, Gen House is passionate about extending the love of God and knowledge of his Word to the poor, refugees, orphans, widows, and our neighbors!

Must be able to withstand extreme heat temperatures and rural environments (during on site activities only)

Fellowship Trip

We realize that everyone does not come to Africa for missions. Some just want to adventure, enjoy our cultural food, and simply visit! Well, there’s room for you here!

Our fellowship trips were created for groups wanting to visit and have an immersive, tourist experience in The Pearl of Africa. In addition to being on-site at Gen House and having direct fellowship in the homes of our neighbors, you will also experience the diversity of Uganda’s culture and adventures like game drives in famous national parks, mountain hikes, coffee tours, and bungee jumping into the great Nile River.

Must attend with a group of 5 individuals or more

Educator’s Trip

Are you an educator? If so, you are most welcome to Gen House! We love hosting teachers and others with backgrounds in education that are willing to offer their expertise to better our learning experience for students at Gen House.

Now while this trip is heavy on the education side, it is also an incredible bonding experience for you and your teaching colleagues! You will surely get a taste of our classrooms and experience the beauty of this country inside and outside of our village!

Qualifications

Must currently be a teacher or former educator
Must be willing to teach 1-2 sessions about best educational practices
Must be a team player
Must love having FUN
Must attend with a group of 5 individuals or more
